Model Horse Landvaettir Workshop
Saturday, July 11
10:00am - 12:00 pm
Skill Level: Beginner to Advanced
In this hands-on workshop, Jamie Rott will guide participants in creating their own Landvættir horse—a nature spirit inspired by Nordic mythology. Each horse will embody the essence of the land: green, moss-covered, and adorned with flowers, blending animal form with the spirit of earth and growth. The workshop emphasizes creativity over perfection, making it welcoming for both beginners and experienced makers. Participants will leave with a finished Landvættir horse and a deeper connection to imagination, myth, and the natural world. A Breyer Freedom Series scale model is included with this session.
Please note that this session is at the same time as Icelandic Black Sand Beach Bases, Face the Face (part 2 of a two-part series), How to Paint Your Dragon, and Traditional Scale Julbocks.
You must be a BreyerFest 2026 VIP or All-Access Ticket Holder to purchase this item. Make sure you are logged into the account used to purchase tickets to access the "Add to Cart" button.
Limit 4 per cart - each participant must be a VIP or All-Access ticket holder. If you are looking to register more than one person in any workshop, make sure that the quantity corresponds to the number of people you are looking to register.
